Home United FC had its worst start to the league in recent years after going down 0-1 to the Young Lions at the Jalan Besar Stadium tonight. This loss is Home United's third in a row with previous losses to PEA in AFC Cup and Albirex Niigata in the league. With six matches played, Home United have already lost three matches and manage only a single win. Home United stays on five points, eighth in the table and trails leaders DPMM FC by nine points. Home United's next match will be a home match at the Clementi Stadium, against Woodlands Wellington FC.
In tonight's match, Home United started with the same eleven that started against Albirex Niigata. Regulars Lionel Lewis and Peres De Oliveira were again left on the bench.
An Obadin Aikhena goal was the only one of this match. It was Young Lions first victory in the league.
