SINGAPORE: The Young Lions secured their first win of the S.League season after they beat Home United 1-0 at Jalan Besar Stadium on Wednesday.
Obadin Aikhena settled the game for the home side in the 72nd minute when he headed home an Isa Halim corner on the right.
The visitors tried to rally in search for an equaliser, but lack of incisiveness cost them as they slumped to their second consecutive league defeat.
With the win, the Young Lions have leapfrogged over Home United from the bottom to fifth place in the league table. - S.League.com
