DPMM FC vs Sengkang Punggol, 8:15pm tonight

Sengkang Punggol face the biggest challenge to break the home turf of DPMM FC at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium when both clubs will meet for the first in the YEO’s Great Eastern S.League on Wednesday evening. DPMM FC have been riding high, undefeated in their campaign and a victory will leapfrog DPMM FC to the peak of the S. League’s standing.

Despite Sengkang Punggol’s lowly position in the league, DPMM FC’s coach Vjeran Simunic isn’t taking any opponent lightly. The Croat coach said, “Sengkang Punggol is another tough club with Indra Sandra Daud as their top scorer. We respect every team that we face and every opposition is tough. Now because of our good position in the league, this invites more competition from the competing clubs to beat DPMM FC.”

“For us, it’s important for us get the result. Shahrazen may have not scored in the past five games but he is the most hardworking player for DPMM FC and he is important to our attack. It’s important on how we finish the game. We have a compact team and it’s a teamwork effort. He will definitely start with Oh Ddog Yi upfront tomorrow.”
