Shahrazen confident against Tampines.

Brunei DPMM Fc forward Shahrazen Said is confident of scoring against Tampines Rovers in the coming S-League match at Stadium Jalan Besar on Friday night.

The talented forward has found his scoring boots following the winning goal on the 60th minute against Sengkang Punggol on March 24 at home.

When met at training session yesterday, Shahrazen said he was lucky to score in the last match.

"I were under tremendous pressure from fans and the coach to break my goal drought in the last game.At last I managed to fulfill my promise.I was a bit worried at first."

On the goal he said "The ball was on the way down towards me and I just hit the ball not too hard and it curled away from the keeper and into the net."

On the game against Tampines he said: "I will try to score and the goal against Sengkang has renewed my confidence in scoring."

Meanwhile Brunei DPMM coach Vjeran Simunic will be cautious against Tampines who are in fourth place just four points adrift from third-placed DPMM.

"Tampines are like a dream team, they have nine very good import players," Simunic added.

"They have talented players like Akihiro Nakamura from Japan and Sutee Suksomkitof Thailand. They have the national team Singaporean goalkeeper and Noh Alam Shah, the captain of the Singapore national team."

"We are proud to face a club like Tampines, it will not be n easy game.

"We can't say about the result now, we will try to perform our best."

"The odds are against Brunei DPMM with the synthetic grass in Jalan Besar posing a challenge to the team.

"However, with the 10-day break,Brunei DPMM are all set to face Tampines Rovers."

On Shahrazen the coach said" "I am happy that he scored in the previous game.

He is an important and key player in the team.He is a defensive and attacking forward and without him, it will be hard for us."

The match will be telecast live on RTB2 from 7.30 pm on Friday.
