DPMM FC and Geylang played to a goaless draw last night at the Bedok Stadium.
But though they did create several chances and hit the post once, they were unbale to find the back of the net - their first goaless game of the season.
The draw cements DPMM's third place while Geylang leapfrogged Home Utd into fifth.
"We played well and it was a good performance overall, but we were just unlucky," lamented Pg Waslimin after the match.
"We even managed to hit the post and forced their goalkeepr some good saves...But it was not our night."
The Bedok Stadium has long been notorious for not allowing visiting teams to leave with a share of points, but Pg Waslimin said that the atmosphere at the 4,000 venue lastnight was nothing the league's newest team could handle.
As expected Algerian striker Abdel Hamid Berguiga was handed his full debut last night making it the first time in 4 games that the team has started with all four imports.
DPMM can now enjoy a one week break before their next match against basement dwellers Balestier Khalsa at the Toa Payoh Satdium next Thursday.
